Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Square, cash or check: mark it paid
Quick answerOpen the job in Jobs & payments, go to Record a payment, choose Deposit, Balance or Full amount, enter the amount and method, then tap Record Payment. Card payments record themselves.
Card payments through Stripe record themselves. For any other payment, mark it by hand.
- In your dashboard, open Jobs & payments and tap the job.
- Under Record a payment, choose Deposit, Balance or Full amount.
- Enter the amount.
- Pick the method: Zelle, Check, Square or Other. Use Other for Venmo, PayPal or cash.
- Add the date it was paid if it wasn't today.
- Tap Record Payment.
In person, right after the customer signs, you can record the deposit on the spot. Choose Check, Cash or Zelle / Venmo / other and add a check number or reference.
Tip: Before you record a transfer, open your Zelle, Venmo or bank app and make sure the money's really there.

Payment instructions: tick Zelle, Venmo or PayPal in the How to Pay box under Ready-Made Notes in your dashboard and add your details, so they print on your documents.
