Turn on card payments (Stripe)
Quick answerDashboard → Set up card payments. It takes about five minutes through Stripe. Have your bank routing and account numbers, SSN or EIN, date of birth, and a phone for a text code ready.
Card payments go from your customer's card straight into your own bank account. We never hold your money or take a cut.
Have these ready:
- Your business bank account's routing and account numbers
- Your Social Security number or EIN, and your date of birth. Stripe is required by law to confirm who gets the money.
- Your business name and address
- A phone that can get a text
Steps
- In your dashboard, tap Set up card payments.
- Tap the button and follow Stripe's steps. It takes about five minutes.
- When it's done, the page says Card payments are on.
Your proposals and invoices now show a Pay by card button. Money usually reaches your bank within a couple of days.
Good to know
- Stripe charges its standard processing fee on card payments. We don't add any fee.
- Stripe may offer to save your details with Link. That's optional. You can skip it.
- Stuck on "Almost there"? Tap Finish card-payment setup. Stripe remembers what you've entered already.
